Conformation

Good Afternoon! About three months a ago while I was working at my job in the pharmacy. I meet a young gentleman and his sister in the drivethru wanting to get a prescription filled. As, I asked his sister for her brother's information something caught my eye. He was sitting on the passenger side of the car with a towel over his head. I asked him why did he have the towel over his head. He pulled the towel from his head and said "I was just in a house fire". My heart started racing with compassion for the young man. He told me that his face, back, and legs where burned. I could tell that he was an attractive young man, and that he was going to need some support from like minded people to get through this crisis. I asked him why did the hospital send him away and he had just got burned. He said they just put some cream on his burns and gave him a prescription for pain. I was shocked that here's a burned victim in the drivethru left to pick up the pieces from his tragedy with no support except from his family. I told him about going to the burn center that, I volunteer at for treatment for his burns so that he would know how to take care of himself and his burns. Also I told him about the support group and was looking forward to seeing him there. I shared with him that I too was a burn survivor and that I would love to keep in touch with him for support. That was my conformation for me to continue on this path for burn victims and survivors. Until next time ...Tiffany.....

My Testimony

Good morning! I Tiffany am proud to say that, I am a blessed burn survivor! After experiencing being burned I truly know that GOD loves me and you. We have a journey to fulfill with one another for encouragement and support. I was eight years old when I had gotten burned. My face was pink the skin on my arms and legs were hanging off of my body. On August 4, 1980 was the worst day of my life. The accident happened from a trash explosion in my grandparents back yard in Crossett, Arkansas. I am really excited to share my story with everybody. I use to be embarrassed and ashamed of my scars growing up as a child. Now that I know that GOD loves me for me with the scars. I know that their are other burn victims and survivors that have felt the same way. It would be a pleasure to communicate with each and every one of you. I love myself and my scars because they are apart of my testimony. Until next time .... Tiffany....

Support group for burn victims and survivors

My name is Tiffany a thirty eight year old burn survivor. I have discovered my divine purpose in life. I have started a non profit organization for burn victims and survivors in the Hampton Roads area. I have lived in Hampton, Virginia for ten years, and have discovered that there is not a organization for burn victims and survivors in the area. I have meet several burn victims and survivors who are looking for emotional and mental support from like-minded people such as myself. I was shocked to find out that this is a needed organization for other victims, and survivors to tell their stories to help them on the road to recovery. I am seeking for input from other burn victims and survivors to make our victims and survivors cope with their lives. Looking forward to hearing from all of you. Thank you! Tiffany
